STAR LOOKS, LLC was created by Marci Star to fill a need: Professional, organized (and affordable) creative face (and body) artistry whenever it’s needed, and wherever it’s needed. Not just for celebrities, but for anyone who desires an incredible “star look” for ANY occasion. Most make-up techs are in studios or salons, and most people don’t have time to visit (or even find) these locations or make an appointment (if an appointment is even available when they need it ). STAR LOOKS techs COME TO YOU – whenever you need them, and wherever you are!! WHAT COSMETICS DO STAR LOOKS TECHNICIANS USE? STAR LOOKS’ certified makeup artists use (primarily) MAC products, which we consider some of the highest quality of all cosmetic types as well as the only make up with such a wide range of colors, options, and applicability. However, if your preferences or life styles prevent the use of these products, or you prefer the use of other brands, STAR LOOKS has artists specializing in most other brands of makeup, hair care and skincare to fit your needs. WHAT IF I DON’T KNOW WHAT “LOOK” I WANT? All STAR LOOKS’ techs are known for their creativity. They each have “LOOK BOOKS” and portfolios. They’ll show you ideas for “star looks” that will make you beautiful and excited in helping you decide - AND continue working until you are satisfied. I’M CONCERNED WITH SANITATION. YOU MUST APPLY THESE PRODUCTS TO A LOT OF PEOPLE! STAR LOOKS’ artists use sanitized applicators, and create a set of “testers” unique to the customer and stored in individual containers. After a face make-up is completed using these testers, they are then offered to the customer for a nominal charge for touch-ups, or future remakes. Hair care combs brushes and implements are always sanitized in state board quality liquids before use, and other skincare and skincare products are used with the same method as makeup. WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY ANYWHERE, ANYTIME? Anywhere-Anytime means just what it says, anywhere in the world, anytime day or night, 24/7/365. Just call. You will receive a quote, and our closest tech will be contacted, booked, and sent over to you. HOW MUCH DOES A FULL FACE OF MAKE-UP COST? SOUNDS EXPENSIVE! Every event is different. STARLOOKS takes pride in our “we work with your budget” philosophy. No matter the event, we will consider any budget and work to create a service that caters to your desired price (even though sometimes we may have a minimum price, it is possible to negotiate). Please do not hesitate to ask us anything. We would much rather keep you as a client and cater to your needs, than cause you to resort to a competitor with cheaper prices and potentially lower-quality service. *Obviously special needs or long distances will cost a little more. STAR LOOKS’ website includes a quotation request that will be returned promptly if your requirements fall outside of STAR LOOKS’ normal parameters (more than one hour or 10 miles outside of the Los Angeles area).
